A front loader is not an upsell here, it is how these machines are configured and sold. What changes between models is how much it picks up.

Take it off without tools

Kubota's Swift Tach system lets you drop the loader and put it back without leaving the seat or picking up a wrench. Single lever hydraulic connection, no spill couplers, no hunting for pins. That matters because a loader you can remove in a minute is a loader you will actually take off when you need the 3 point hitch.

Bucket, pallet forks and a quick attach plate cover most of what property owners need. Add a backhoe on the BX23S or on any L Series and one machine handles loading, digging and grading.

What is the difference between BX Series and L Series Kubota tractors?

BX Series are sub compact tractors from 16 to 25 HP, built for homeowners and small properties. They mow, load and handle light tasks under 5 acres and fit in a standard garage with the ROPS folded. L Series are compact utility tractors from 25 to 39 HP built for heavier work. They run full size implements like box blades, rotary cutters, bush hogs and backhoes. If you have more than 5 acres or serious land work to do, go L Series. If you are between the two, look at the B Series.

Which Kubota tractor is best for a first time buyer?

The BX2380 is the most common starting point. 23 HP, 4WD, hydrostatic transmission, front loader capable, mid mount mower deck compatible and simple enough for someone who has never operated a tractor. If you also need to dig trenches or install drainage, the BX23S includes a backhoe. If your property is over 5 acres or you need heavy implements, start with the L2502 or L3302.

What is the price range on a Kubota tractor?

Kubota tractor price depends on the series. Sub compact BX models sit at the bottom of the range and 39 HP L Series machines at the top. Every compact tractor for sale on this page has its price listed on the model card above. What you actually pay depends on configuration, whether you add a loader, backhoe or mower deck, current programs and your branch. Call and we will build the number for your exact setup rather than quoting you a stripped machine that is not what you want.

Can I finance a Kubota tractor with no money down?

Yes. Zero down at zero percent APR is available on new Kubota tractors through Kubota Credit Corporation for qualified buyers, and most credit decisions come back within 24 to 48 hours. Up to $4,200 cash back is a separate program that applies to cash purchases only, and the two cannot be combined. Your branch will run both and tell you which one leaves you better off.

I searched for an L3901 or L2501. Do you still carry those?

Those model numbers were replaced. The L3902 supersedes the L3901 and the L2502 supersedes the L2501. Same position in the lineup with updated engines and equipment. What is the best tractor for a small property?

Under an acre and mostly mowing, the BX1880 handles it. One to five acres with mowing and some loader work, the BX2380 is the volume seller for a reason. If you have three to ten acres or you are running rear implements, look at the B2601. Use the fit finder at the top of this page and it will point you at a starting model in two taps.

Which tractor is best for horse property?

The L3302 and L3902 are the most common choices. They have the power to run a rotary cutter for pasture maintenance, enough loader lift for round bales and pallets of feed, and a rear PTO for a manure spreader. Smaller horse properties with lighter upkeep do fine on a BX or a B2601.

What can I actually do with a compact tractor?

More than most people expect. Mow pasture and lawn with mid mount or rear decks. Move dirt, gravel, mulch and hay with the front loader. Grade a driveway with a box blade. Clear brush with a rotary cutter. Dig post holes with a PTO auger. Trench with a backhoe. Haul with pallet forks. One machine replaces several.
