The First. Still The Toughest.

Takeuchi did not copy the compact track loader. They invented it. The same country that built your 300,000 mile Tacoma builds your track loader, and it is engineered with the same stubborn refusal to quit.

Questions

Takeuchi Track Loader FAQ

Straight answers about the lineup, durability and getting your machine.

What's the deal with Japanese iron?
Simple. The Japanese do not build disposable machines. Ask anyone still driving their 2005 Tacoma. Takeuchi has been forging equipment in Nagano since 1963, invented the compact track loader in 1986, and builds every machine like it plans to outlive the operator. That reputation is why the resale value holds and why crews that beat on their equipment keep coming back to the brand.
What makes Takeuchi different from other track loaders?
Takeuchi invented the compact track loader and has been refining it with Japanese engineering ever since. These machines are built for people who run equipment hard: all steel construction, fully welded frames and undercarriages designed for punishment, not pampering. If your machine works as hard as you do, this is the brand built for it.
What is the difference between the TL6R, TL8R2 and TL12?
Size and muscle. The TL6R is the compact of the family, ideal for tight sites with height and width restrictions. The TL8R2 is the all-around workhorse with a fully welded one piece frame and redesigned undercarriage. The TL12 is the biggest radial lift in the lineup, 111 HP for serious earthmoving, grading and heavy material handling. Tell us the work and we will point you to the right one.
How durable are these machines really?
Durability is the whole design philosophy. Model specific undercarriage components with larger bearings run at slower shaft speeds to extend component life, frames are fully welded steel, and vital engine and hydraulic components sit protected inside the structure. These are machines contractors buy specifically because they take a beating and keep working.
Can I run attachments on a Takeuchi track loader?
Yes. Buckets, grapples, augers, breakers, mulchers and more. High flow auxiliary hydraulics are available for demanding attachments, and attachments can be rolled into the same financing as the machine.
Is 0% financing really available on these machines?
Yes, qualified buyers can get $0 down and 0% APR promotional financing on new Takeuchi track loaders. Programs change periodically, so request a quote and we will confirm the current terms on your exact machine.
Can I finance under my LLC or business?
Yes. Most of our commercial buyers finance through an LLC, S-corp, sole proprietorship or DBA. Bring your entity name and we will structure it correctly.
How fast is approval?
Most decisions come back within 24 to 48 hours. If you need to move faster, tell us your timeline and we will push the application through as a priority.
Can I trade in my current equipment?
Absolutely. We take trades on Takeuchi, Kubota and other brands. Your trade value applies straight to the financed amount, which lowers your monthly.
What about parts and service?
We stock Takeuchi parts at all three Southern California branches and our factory certified techs are trained on every machine we sell. Takeuchi machines are also supported by authorized dealers nationwide, so you are covered wherever the work takes you.
Is delivery really free?
Yes. Every purchase includes free delivery to your jobsite within 70 miles of your branch. No hidden freight, no setup surprise.
Can I demo a machine before I buy?
Talk to us. Depending on availability we can arrange seat time so you can feel the difference before you commit.
Do these machines hold their value?
Takeuchi has a strong resale reputation precisely because the machines are built to last. A well maintained unit stays productive and desirable on the secondary market.
